The 1985 Kansas City Royals personified true grit and true "Bret", as pitching ace Bret Saberhagen (20-6 during the season) led them back from 2-0 and 3-1 game deficits in the World Series before roaring back to beat the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games. This delicately-toned Official World Series Ueberroth ball is signed by 28 members of the ‘85 champs including manager Dick Howser (SS), Saberhagen, George Brett, Willie Wilson, Frank White, Steve Balboni, Hal McRae, Charlie Leibrandt, etc. Most signatures are in charcoal grey and range from 7s to 8s.
