It's been said that the Cleveland Indians' 3-decade famine was due to the "Curse of Rocky Colavito." This collection of five Tribe balls from 1962, ‘64 and ‘67 is a memento of the post-Rocky era when lovable Indians like Frank Funk and Joe Azcue held the fort. The toned ‘62 ball has 28 signatures including manager Mel McGaha (SS), Tito Francona, Jim Perry, etc. The signatures rate 6s and 7s. The white ‘64 ball is the lot's best. It contains 24 signatures including manager George Strickland (SS), Vic Davalillo, Sam McDowell, Luis Tiant, etc. The signatures rate 9s and 10s. The three slightly toned ‘67 balls have 23, 23 and 27 signatures including manager Joe Adcock (clubhouse), Davalillo, Ray Fosse, Tiant, McDowell, etc. The signatures rate from 7 to 9.
