One of the most cerebral pitchers to take the mound, Greg Maddux is the only pitcher in MLB history with over 300 wins, more than 3,000 strikeouts and fewer than 1,000 walks. Maddux is a World Series champion, won four National League Cy Young Awards, has his No. 31 retired by two franchises including the Atlanta Braves and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014 on the first ballot. On the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On this tag is PSA/DNA sticker, “Z03784”. The manufacturer’s tag has a flag tag attached below that reads, “100% POLYESTER”. Across the chest reads, “Atlanta” and on the back is the player number “31”. These are done in red on navy blue tackle twill. Below “Atlanta” is the team’s Tomahawk logo. Across the back reads the player name, “MADDUX” in navy blue tackle twill on a grey nameplate. Below the back player name, Maddux signed the jersey in blue pen with the added inscription, “95 W.S. CHAMPS!” and in our opinion rates a 7 overall. On the right sleeve is a Russell Athletic logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and PSA/DNA.
