Mike Piazza was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016. Piazza was a 12-time All-Star and has his No. 31 retired by the New York Mets franchise. On the inside on the front left tail is a “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached are four flag tags that read, “SET 1 2001”, “2 INCH EXTRA LENGTH”, “50” and “1” INCH SHORTER Sleeve” respectively. Across the chest reads “Mets”, the player number “31” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “PIAZZA”. All numbering and lettering are done in blue on orange on black triple tackle twill. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. On the left sleeve is the team’s “Mets” logo disc patch embroidered and below is a Rawlings logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
