First ballot Hall of Fame inductee Jim Palmer won three World Series championships and three American League Cy Young Awards. A six-time All-Star, Palmer had the most wins of any pitcher during the 1970s and has his No. 22 retired by the Baltimore Orioles franchise. On the inside of the front right tail is a “Rawlings” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached adjacent is a flag tag that reads, “SET 1 1980” and a flag tag that reads, “1 INCH EXTRA LENGTH”. Across the chest reads “Orioles”, the player number “22” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “PALMER” on an off-white nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in orange on black tackle twill. There is dirt staining on the right shoulder. On the inside of the pants below the rear waistline is a “Rawlings” size “34” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is a white strip tag with, “22 34 28 1 80” embroidered on it in black chain-stitching. Attached adjacent is a flag tag that reads, “SET 1 1980”. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
