On the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “48” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On this tag, the number “22” is written in black pen and it appears “8” is crossed out. Attached to the manufacturer’s tag are two flag tags that read, “100% NYLON” and “2” EXTRA LENGTH” respectively. Below is a strip tag with the year, “1996” printed on it. Across the chest reads, “Orioles” and on the back is the player number “8”. These are done in orange on black on white triple tackle twill. On the right sleeve is a Russell Athletic logo embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn in batting practice and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
