Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989, Johnny Bench was one of the fiercest competitors in the history of the game. On the inner sweatband is the “New Era” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is the “OFFICIAL LICENSE MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL” tag and the “7 5-8” size tag. The player number “5” is written in black pen on the underside of the brim. The team's "C" logo is embroidered in white stitching on the front of the cap. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use with dirt and sweat staining.
