Greg Maddux was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014 on the first ballot. A World Series champion, Maddux is a four-time National League Cy Young Award winner and has his No. 31 retired by the Chicago Cubs franchise. On the inside sweatband is a “NEW ERA” manufacturer’s tag, a size “7 5-8” tag and the “MLB Authentic COLLECTION” tag. On the back of the cap is the official “MLB” logo embroidered and on the front is the team’s “C” logo embroidered in red and white stitching. On the underside of the brim is the player number “31” written in pen. This cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
