The Athletics moved from Kansas City to Oakland and spent their first season in California in 1968. On the front left tail is a “TIM McAULIFFE” manufacturer’s tag. Below is a “‘68” year tag and a size “46” tag. Across the chest reads, “OAKLAND” in green and white stitching and on the back is the player number “4” in green on white tackle twill with a green-stitched border sewn directly onto the yellow flannel vest. There is light staining throughout the front of the jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
