Jim Ray Hart spent 10 years with the San Francisco Giants and two years with the New York Yankees. His best season was in 1966 when he was named a National League All-Star. On the front left tail is a “Rawlings” size “44” manufacturer’s tag. Below is a tag with washing instructions and a flag tag attached that reads, “SET 1 1969”. Below is the year number “69” and the size number “44” embroidered in black chain-stitching. On the inside of the rear collar is a felt strip tag with the player name, “Hart” embroidered in black chain-stitching. Across the jersey reads, “SAN FRANCISCO” and on the back is the player number “16”. These are done in black on orange canvas sewn directly onto the grey flannel jersey. The numbering and lettering are slightly faded. The left sleeve MLB 100th anniversary patch has been removed. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
