Joe Morgan was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1990 on the first ballot. A 10-time All-Star, Morgan won two World Series championships, was a two-time National League MVP and is one of the best to ever play at second base. On the front left tail is a black strip tag with, “8 81” embroidered on it in orange chain-stitching. On the inside below the rear collar is a “Wilson” size “40” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads “Giants”, the player number “8” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “MORGAN” on a black nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in orange on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a, “SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS 25 YEARS 1958 1982” patch embroidered. There is dirt staining on the back player number. On the back player number, Morgan signed the jersey in pen and in our opinion rates a 5-6 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
