The 1963 Los Angeles Dodgers proved the axiom that good pitching stops good hitting when they snuffed the mighty Yankees four straight in the World Series. Two of those Series wins were by Sandy Koufax, capping off a Cy Young award winning season in which he compiled a 25-5 record and a 1.88 ERA. Koufax's signature is on a side panel of this handsome, lightly toned ONL Giles ball and rates an 8. Most signatures are strong, rating from 7 to 9, and include manager Walter Alston (SS), Don Drysdale, Maury Wills, Johnny Podres, John Roseboro, Ron Fairly, etc.
