Walter Alston was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983. A four-time World Series champion, Alston’s No. 24 is retired by the Los Angeles Dodgers franchise. On the front left tail is a tag that has, “Set A 1973” embroidered on it in blue stitching. Inside on the rear collar fold is a “W.A. Goodman & Sons” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “Dodgers”, the manager’s number “24” appears on the back and across the back reads the manager’s name, “ALSTON”. These are done in blue tackle twill. The manager’s number “24” appears on the front in red tackle twill. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as manager-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
