On the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag that reads, “ENGINEERED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BOSTON RED SOX”. On the left seam is a Majestic “COOL BASE” tag and a size “48” flag tag. On the left inseam is a size “48” materials tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads, “RED SOX”, the player number “34” appears on the back and across the back reads the player name, “ORTIZ”. All numbering and lettering are done in white on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the red jersey. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo embroidered. On the left sleeve is a Majestic logo and on the right sleeve is an embroidered patch that reads, “1912 FENWAY PARK 100 YEARS” in green, white and red stitching. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as player-worn in batting practice and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
