The most productive DH in MLB history, David Ortiz holds the DH records for home runs, RBI and hits. He is currently in the top-20 in MLB history in career home runs and is a three-time World Series champion. During his final season in the MLB, Ortiz played his final home opener at Fenway Park on April 11th and had two hits and an RBI. On the front left tail is a “Majestic” manufacturer’s tag that reads, “FLEXBASE” and “SIZE 50”. On the manufacturer’s tag is MLB hologram sticker, “JB373973”. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. On the lower inside button path is a Majestic inventory code tag. Across the chest reads, “RED SOX” and on the back is the player number “34”. These are done in red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the white mesh jersey. On the rear collar is the official “MLB” logo. On the left sleeve is a “Majestic” logo embroidered. Ortiz signed the player number “4” in silver pen. An inscription on the player number “4” reads, “LAST FENWAY OPENER” and the inscriptions on the player number “3” read, “2-5 - 1 DOUBLE, RBI”, “4/11/16” and “FAREWELL SEASON”. In our opinion, the autograph rates a 7 overall. On the player number “4” is Fanatics Authentic hologram sticker, “ZZ0023987”. The main dirt stain appears on the left shoulder. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
