Gary “Kid” Carter was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003. Carter was an 11-time All-Star, a World Series champion and had his No. 8 retired by the Montreal Expos franchise. On the inside rear collar fold is a “Rawlings” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On the right inseam is a tag that reads, “SET 1 1981”. On the left chest is the team’s “M” logo in white, red and blue tackle twill. The player number “8” appears on the right chest and on the back, below the team logo reads, “expos” and across the back reads the player name, “CARTER”. These are done in red tackle twill sewn directly onto the powder blue jersey. Carter signed below “expos” in pen and in our opinion, rates a 7-8 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an additional LOA.
