The 1960 Pirates were unlikely and charismatic champs, defeating the mighty Yankees in a heart-stopping seventh game in Bill Mazeroski's ninth-inning home run. This lightly-toned, near-mint condition ONL Giles ball was signed by 30 team members in blue ink, rating from 7 to 10. Prominent on the sweet spot is manager Danny Murtaugh's signature and Mazeroski's is one of the strongest, with each rating a near-10. Other key signatures include Vernon Law, Smoky Burgess, Vinegar Bend Mizell, Elroy Face, Dick Groat and a young Roberto Clemente that rates a solid 9.
