Ken Griffey Jr. was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on the first ballot. This batting practice-worn jersey was originally purchased directly from the Mariners. Griffey Jr. was one of the most prolific home run hitters in history, currently ranking sixth in MLB history. On the left inseam is a size “XL” materials tag with washing instructions. On the inside below the rear collar is a “Majestic” size “XL” manufacturer’s tag. Across the chest reads, “MARINERS” in blue on yellow on blue triple tackle twill. On the back is the player number “24” in blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the grey mesh jersey. On the right sleeve reads, “Majestic” embroidered in blue stitching. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as batting practice-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear.
