The greatest baseball player of all time had a larger-than-life personality off the field. This monogrammed top hat personally owned by Babe Ruth perfectly coincides with his off the field demeanor, as there are countless stories of him being a jokester, prankster and just an overall loveable character. On the inside of the black top hot is a stamp that reads, “Alfons Schmid Waldsee” with the company logo above. Inside the hat on the side, “G.H. RUTH” is stamped in gold-colored lettering. The hat is sourced from a New York Yankees employee (1919-1938) who was a locker room manager. The employee frequently went out with the players after the game and built many friendships during work, including one with Ruth. Accompanied by a letter of guarantee from the source of the item.
