"The Ol' Perfessor," Casey Stengel, managed the Boston Braves from 1938-43, a run that preceded his more illustrious managerial career with the New York Yankees. The "B's" did have one thing the Yankees did, a DiMaggio – Joe's brother Vince, an outfielder. The 24 members of the ‘38 Braves who signed this shiny, lightly toned ONL Frick ball include Stengel (ss), DiMaggio, Ray Mueller, Tony Cuccinello, Al Lopez, John Cooney, Jim Turner, Ellie Fletcher, Rabbit Warstler, etc. The ball is in excellent condition and the signatures rate 5s to 7s.
