This baseball was hollowed out and professionally turned into a lighter. There is a hole where the manufacturer's stamp was and the ball carries significantly more weight than a regular baseball. The ball has also been shellacked. There are eight signatures done in steel-tip fountain pen from members of the 1934 Tour of Japan team. Signatures include Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Connie Mack, Earl Averill, Bing Miller, Rabbit Warstler and Doc Ebling. In our opinion, the signatures rate a 3 overall with the Ruth being the most legible on its own panel adjacent to the lighter hole. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA.
