"GOLDSMITH" manufactured "OFFICIAL LEAGUE BALL GUARANTEED 18 INNINGS" with red and blue stitching. On an adjacent panel is more stamped text, but cannot be fully made out due to the condition of the ball. "NO. 97 HORSE HIDE COVER 9 INCH 5 - 1 OZ. RUBBER". On the sweet spot is the autograph of baseball legend, Babe Ruth. On an adjacent panel, the signatures of Dizzy Dean, Lou Gehrig and Stan Hack are done in steel-tip fountain pen. Hack's signature has the added insciption, "Des Moines '48-49" penned in his own hand. The signatures rate a 7 overall, with the Ruth and Gehrig signatures being the most prominent and Dean's signature the least prominent. The baseball is in G condition. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA.
