Jim “Catfish” Hunter was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1987. In 1974, Hunter won the American League Cy Young Award by leading the league in wins and ERA. To top it off, he won one of his five World Series championships. Manuf: H&B, Model Number: M110, Length: 34 in., Weight: 29.9 oz., Wood: Ash, Labeling Period: 1974 World Series, Condition: Uncracked. Ball/hit marks are present on the right, left and back barrel. There are black ball transfer marks present on the left and back barrel. This bat was presented to us as game-used and shows light use. Catfish had two at bats in the '74 World Series resulting in two strikeouts. Definitive player attributes by PSA/DNA were unable to confirmed by Hunter due to the limited plate appearances. Accompanied by a LOA from PSA/DNA.
