Gary Carter was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003, was an 11-time All-Star and won the MLB All-Star Game MVP twice. Manuf: Cooper, Model Number: P89, Length: 35 in., Weight: 33.4/32 oz., Wood: Ash, Labeling Period: 1986-92. Condition: Cracked on the hand. On one of the bats, the player number “8” is written on the knob end and barrel end in black marker. The ounces and length are also stamped on the knob end. Ball/hit marks are present on the left, front and back barrel. There are black ball transfer marks present on the back and front barrel. There are cleat marks on the right barrel. There is moderate pine tar use on the handle. This bat shows excellent overall player use attributes. The knob has a “G” on it for Gamer, shows medium game-use and is graded an 8.5 by PSA/DNA. The second bat has slight checking on the back barrel. Carter signed the bat on the front barrel in blue pen and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. There are ball/hit marks on the right, left, back and front barrel. There are black ball transfer marks on the right, left and back barrel. There is light pine tar use on the handle. The bat shows excellent overall player-use attributes. This bat was presented to us as game-used and shows heavy use. This bat was graded an 8.5 by PSA/DNA. These bats are accompanied by an LOA from JSA, an LOA from PSA/DNA and an additional LOA.
