Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris are forever linked in history for this dramatic chapter in the game's lore, punctuated in storybook fashion by Maris hitting #61 on the season's final day. With both men now gone, having their dual signatures on a ball in this top-flight condition seems to be a gift from the baseball gods, and as an item of memorabilia is very rare.
