George Blanda played 26 seasons of professional football, the most in the sport's history. Blanda retired from pro football in 1976 at the age of 48 and holds the record for most extra points kicked. The three-time AFL champion was the AFL MVP one time. Blanda was named to the AFL All-Time Team and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1981. On the front left tail is a “Wilson” size “44” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On the inside below the rear collar is a size “44” tag. The player number “16” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve. Across the back reads the player name, “BLANDA” on a black nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in silver tackle twill. The nameplates for the Raiders were generally locally done. Although this is a Wilson manufactured jersey, it features Sand-Knit numbering. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by two additional LOAs.
