Earl Cooper is a two-time Super Bowl champion, one of which was earned on 1/20/1985 when the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Miami Dolphins 38-16. Cooper caught one pass for four yards in the contest. On the front left tail is a “RUSSELL ATHLETIC” size “46” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Below is a flag tag attached that reads, “100% NYLON FOR CARE SEE REVERSE” with washing instructions. The player number “89” appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve. Across the back reads the player name “COOPER” on a red mesh nameplate. All numbering and lettering are painted in white. Below the front player number, Cooper signed the jersey in black pen with the added inscription, “Game Worn SB XIX Jersey” and in our opinion, rates an 8 overall. The side seams on this jersey have been custom tapered by the team. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used in Super Bowl XIX and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA, PSA/DNA, Earl Cooper and an additional LOA.
