A 13-3 regular season record had Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers primed for one last Super Bowl run, but Favre’s last game in a Packers uniform was an overtime loss in the NFC Championship Game to the New York Giants. Favre completed 19-of-35 passes for 236 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. The Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee has his No. 4 retired by the Green Bay Packers and is a member of their Hall of Fame. This is the last Packers jersey Favre wore in his stellar career for one of the sport’s greatest franchises. On the inside below the rear collar is a strip tag with, “07-52” printed on it. On the v-neck is the official “NFL EQUIPMENT” shield logo embroidered. On the left chest is an embroidered patch that reads, “1957-2007 50 Years LAMBEAU FIELD” and on the right chest is the Captain’s “C” patch embroidered. The player number “4” appears on the front, on the back and on each shoulder. Across the back reads the player name, “FAVRE” on a green nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in white tackle twill. Below the player number on each shoulder is a Reebok logo embroidered. There is a noticeable stain on the front player number and below the number. In game action reveals traces of the stain on the mesh. As is customary with twill fabric, the stain has absorbed after the game. The two stains are contiguous. There are hit marks and grass stains on the back player number. Favre signed the back player number in black pen with the added inscription, “Game Used 1/20/08 NFC Championship” and in our opinion, rates an 8 overall. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA, a Favre LOA and a photo of Favre signing the jersey.
