On November 30th, 2008, the Washington Redskins admitted Sean Taylor into their Ring of Fame. Taylor was en route to becoming a dominant defensive presence before his tragic death. Football fans may remember Portis running across the field during the pregame ceremony with a No. 21 flag. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions. On the inside below the rear collar is a strip tag with “08-44” printed on it. On the v-neck is the official “NFL EQUIPMENT” shield logo embroidered. Below the v-neck reads, “REDSKINS” in white stitching. On the left chest is a No. 21 black memorial patch for Taylor. The player number “26” appears on the front, the back and on both sleeves. These are done in white on yellow tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “PORTIS” in white tackle twill on a burgundy nameplate. Above the player number on each shoulder is a Reebok logo embroidered. There are dirt stains throughout the shirt, most noticeably on the front and back player numbers. On the inside on the waistline is a swatch with “08” printed on it. On the inside middle cloth is a “Reebok” manufacturer’s tag with the player number “26” written on it in pen. Attached are three flag tags that read, “34”, “SHORT” and a materials tag with washing instructions. On the right thigh area is a Reebok logo embroidered and on the left thigh area is a “NFL EQUIPMENT” shield logo embroidered. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
