This toned and game-used ball has the clear signatures of 10 big leaguers, including six Hall of Famers, in blue pen.. The most riveting aspect of the ball is that it's one of the few around signed by Lou Gehrig and DiMaggio during the three years both men played together on the Yankees. The Iron Horse claims the most prominent signature on the ball, right on the sweet spot. The signature rates a solid 8. DiMaggio's signature is a bit more faded. The strongest signature on the ball belongs to Jimmie Foxx, rating a 9, while fellow Hall of Famers Joe Cronin, Lefty Grove and Red Ruffing merit 8s. On the other sweet spot is written, "Fouled by Charlie Gehringer, Detroit. Caught by Digby Dick McDonough." Other signatures include Red Sox players Pinky Higgins and Eric McNair.
