This is not one but a set of four balls each signed by four of the nine pitchers in AL history who have authored perfect games. The OAL Budig balls are, appropriately, in near-perfect condition and include all three New York Yankees perfect-game purveyors, Don Larsen (the only man to do it World Series play, against the Brooklyn Dodgers on October 10, 1956), David Wells (May 17, 1998 vs. the Minnesota Twins), David Cone (July 18, 1999 vs. the Montreal Expos), as well as Jim "Catfish" Hunter, who pitched for the Yankees but had his gem for the Oakland A's against the Twins on May 8, 1968. Larsen holds the sweet spot on three of the balls, Wells one. All signatures are in blue pen with the dates of the sweet feats, and the crystal-clear signatures rate high 8s to near-10s.
