David Robinson just about did it all during his Hall of Fame NBA career. Robinson earned a Rookie of the Year award, a Defensive Player of the Year award, a scoring title, two NBA championships, was named to the NBA’s 50th Anniversary all-time team and has his No. 50 retired by the San Antonio Spurs franchise. On the front left tail is a “NIKE” size “50” manufacturer’s tag with a “LENGTH + 4” flag tag attached below. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions and a Nike “1999-00” year tag. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads, “SPURS” in white on black on silver triple tackle twill. The player number “50” appears on both the front and on the back in white on silver tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “ROBINSON” in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the black mesh jersey. Robinson signed the back player number “5” in black pen with the added inscription, “Jer 29:12” and in our opinion rates a 7 overall. This jersey is Photo-Matched to three dates where Robinson totaled 66 points and 26 rebounds.
3/10/2000: 106-99 win vs. Washington Wizards with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
4/4/2000: 107-97 loss vs. Orlando Magic with 30 points and seven rebounds.
4/8/2000: 98-80 win vs. Los Angeles Lakers with 15 points and eight rebounds.
This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use with considerable puckering to the indentifiers. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA.
