James Worthy was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2003 and was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. A three-time NBA champion and NBA Finals MVP, Worthy has his No. 42 retired by the Los Angeles Lakers franchise. On the front left tail is a “Champion” size “50” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Adjacent is another tag that reads, “1992-93 Designed and Tailored Exclusively For LOS ANGELES LAKERS ID# BODY LENGTH +3”. On the left inseam is a tag that reads, “100% NYLON”. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads, “LAKERS”. The player number “42” appears on both the front and on the back. Across the back reads the player name “WORTHY”. The player name is done in secondary font. All numbering and lettering are done in purple on white tackle twill sewn directly onto the yellow mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion show appropriate use.
