On June 19th, 2000, the Los Angeles Lakers closed out their 4-2 series victory over the Indiana Pacers in the NBA Finals to capture an NBA championship. Ron Harper had six points, nine assists, two steals and three rebounds in the series-clinching game. On the front left tail is a Nike size “48” manufacturer’s tag with a “LENGTH + 4” flag tag attached. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions and a Nike “1999-00” year tag. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. On the left shoulder is a black armband the team wore in memory of Wilt Chamberlain. On the right chest is an “NBA FINALS” patch embroidered. Across the chest reads, “LAKERS” and across the back reads the player name, “HARPER”. These are done in purple on white tackle twill. The player number “4” appears on both the front and on the back in white on purple tackle twill. Harper signed the back player number in black pen with the added inscription, “Finals Jersey” and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. On the inside of the rear waistline is a Nike size “40” manufacturer’s tag with the player number “4” written on it in black pen. Attached below are three flag tags. One reads, “LENGTH + 2”, one is a Nike “1999-00” year tag and the third is a materials tag with washing instructions. Near the left hip area is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Harper signed below the “NBA” logo in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used during the NBA Finals and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
