Joe Dumars was part of one of the most productive backcourts in NBA history with Isiah Thomas and the Detroit Pistons. Dumars was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in 2006 after he won two NBA championships, an NBA Finals MVP award and making six All-Star teams. Dumars’ No. 4 is retired by the Detroit Pistons franchise. On the front left tail is a “Sand Knit” distributor’s tag that reads, “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the DETROIT PISTONS”. Below is a “Sand-Knit” size “42” manufacturer’s tag. Across the chest reads, “PISTONS” and the player number “4” appears on both the front and on the back. These are painted in red with a blue-painted border. Across the back reads the player name, “DUMARS” in blue vinyl lettering. Dumars signed below the front player number in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 7-8 overall. This Dumars jersey has a rare silver colorway and to our knowledge, is the only one being publicly offered in auction. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA.
