One of the guttiest clutch pitchers in recent memory, David Cone hurled the crown jewel of his career on June 18, 1999 at Yankee Stadium when he rang up the 14th perfect game in modern history. In a 6-0 masterpieces, Cone struck out 10 and didn't go to a 3-ball count on a single batter. This good-condition OAL Budig ball was hit foul into the stands and caught by a fan who later had it signed by Cone, who also inscribed the date in blue pen. The signature merits a solid 9. Included with the ball is an unused, mint condition game ticket and a letter from the fan who caught the ball and owned the ticket.
