Michael Jordan’s all-time great NBA career came to an end with the Washington Wizards. Jordan was named an All-Star in both seasons he was a member of the Wizards by averaging 21.2 points per game. Jordan started 120 out of a possible 164 games. Basketball’s all-time greatest player was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame two times; once in 2009 for his individual career and again in 2010 as a member of the 1992 Men’s Olympic Basketball “Dream Team”. On the front left tail is a Nike size “50” manufacturer’s tag with a flag tag attached below that reads, “LENGTH + 4”. On the left inseam is a materials tag with washing instructions and a Nike “2002-03” year tag. The extra length flag tag on the left front tail is sans "Made In U.S.A." We have seen another Jordan Wizards game-used jersey with the same tag as the one here offered, but our research suggests this tagging variation is less common. The "Made In U.S.A." tag appears on the inner left side seem with the appropriate Nike year flag tagging. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads, “WIZARDS” and the player number “23” appears on both the front and on the back. These are done in white on copper on black triple tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “JORDAN” in white on copper tackle twill sewn directly onto the blue mesh jersey. On the underarms of the jersey is deodorant transfer residue, which helps speak to the authenticity of the jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.

Please note that a correction and/or update has been made to this lot and the printed catalog differs from what is online.
