Future Hall of Famer LeBron James won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award for the 2003-04 season by averaging 20.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. On the front left tail is a Reebok manufacturer’s tag with three flag tags attached: “PLAYDRY”, “50 2LB” and “2003-2004”. On the left inseam is a “SIZE 50 2LB” materials tag with washing instructions and a “UFCW Union Labor” tag. The 50 + 2 is the correct size for James gamers, which was not available to the public. Retail jerseys were available that were 52 + 4. This size, as well of the including of the Union Labor flag tag makes this one of the more desirable examples. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered and on the v-neck is the team’s “C” logo embroidered. Across the chest reads “CLEVELAND”, the player number “23” appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “JAMES”. All numbering and lettering are done in white on gold-colored tackle twill sewn directly onto the wine mesh jersey. Above the player name is the team’s “C” logo patch embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
