As part of Mickey Mantle Day at Yankee Stadium, baseballs stamped with the Mick's signature, his famous No. 7 and the words "New York" over a pinstriped logo were used in the game. These official AL balls have distinctive black seams and this game-used ball is even rarer in that it contains the signatures of all four umpires that day, Larry Barnett, Dan Morrison, Al Clark and Fieldin Culbreath, with their uniform numbers, as well as that of AL president Gene Budig. The signatures are in black ink and rate 7s to 9s.
