Kevin Durant arrived at the University of Texas and accomplished things no other freshman has ever done in the sport of college basketball. After taking home Big 12 Player of the Year honors, Durant became the first freshman to ever win the National College Player of the Year award after averaging 25.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game. Durant went on to win the MVP award in the NBA in 2014 and is a four-time NBA scoring champion. His No. 35 was retired by the University of Texas. On the front left tail is a “NIKE ELITE” size “56” manufacturer’s tag. On the inside below the rear collar is a Nike “TEAM” logo. On the v-neck is the Texas Longhorns logo in burnt orange stitching on grey tackle twill with a grey-stitched border. Across the chest reads, “TEXAS” and the player number “35” appears on both the front and on the back. These are done in burn orange and white tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name “DURANT” in burnt orangle tackle twill sewn directly onto the white mesh jersey. Durant signed the right chest area in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. Our consignor tells us this jersey came directly from Durant to him after his freshman season. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by a full JSA LOA.
