Shaquille O’Neal and Tim Duncan were co-MVPs of the 2000 NBA All-Star Game, with O’Neal scoring 22 points with nine rebounds. O’Neal continued to win the regular season MVP and NBA Finals MVP that same season, capturing a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers. These sneakers were specially designed for O’Neal to wear during this game and are a true 1-of-1 example from one of the NBA’s greatest big men. These Dunk manufactured sneakers were referred to as “the fade joints” (according to the former Dunk employee LOA). The size 22 sneakers read, “DUNK” on each tongue on yellow stitching and the trim fades from a purple to yellow color. O’Neal signed the outside ankle area of each sneaker in pen and in our opinion, rates a 6 overall. These sneakers are properly tagged, were presented to us as player-worn during the 2000 NBA All-Star Game and in our opinion show appropriate wear. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and the aforementioned LOA from the former Dunk employee validating the authenticity.
