The 1995-96 Chicago Bulls set the bar in the NBA for what every great team should strive for in a season, which is complete dominance from start to finish. The Bulls set a then-record for the most regular season wins in a season by going 72-10, and then had a stress free playoffs by going 15-3 en route to an NBA championship. Of course, the driving force behind the success was Michael Jordan, who won the regular season and NBA Finals MVP during the historic season. During the regular season, Jordan averaged 30.4 points with 6.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists and he bumped it up for the postseason, averaging 30.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists. During the regular season on January 10th, 1996, the Bulls improved to 29-3 with a win at home against the Seattle SuperSonics — the team they eventually defeated in the NBA Finals. In a 113-87 victory, Jordan foreshadowed his NBA Finals dominance by scoring 35 points with 14 rebounds and five assists. Mutual respect between the team’s two superstars, Jordan and Shawn Kemp, spawned into a postgame meeting where these shoes were gifted to Kemp. These white Air Jordan XI sneakers with patent leather black trim have a number “23” on each heel and have the Jumpman logo in black stitching on the outside of each ankle area. On the inside of each tongue is a tag that reads, “QUALITY BASKETBALL PRODUCTS INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER”. On the top of the tongue of each sneaker reads, “JUMPMAN JORDAN”. These sneakers are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used during a classic Jordan performance and in our opinion show excellent wear. Accompanied by a Kemp family LOA.
