Allen Iverson is one of the best scoring guards in NBA history and it started right away during his rookie season. Iverson won the Rookie of the Year award by averaging 23.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 2.1 steals and continued to lead the league in scoring four different seasons. The 11-time All-Star was a league MVP and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. On the front left tail is a “Champion” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. This tag has been restored. Adjacent is a “Champion” distributor’s tag that reads, “DESIGNED & TAILORED 96-97 EXCLUSIVELY FOR PHILADELPHIA 76ERS BODY LENGTH +2”. This is an original tag. On the left inseam is a tag that reads, “100% POLYESTER”. On the left chest is the official “NBA” logo embroidered in gold-colored stitching. Across the chest reads, “SIXERS” in red on white on blue on red tackle twill. The player number “3” appears on both the front and on the back in blue on red tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “IVERSON” in blue tackle twill sewn directly into the white mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
