On the inside of the right tail is a “Rawlings” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached adjacent is a flag tag that reads, “SET 1 1981”. Across the chest reads, “Orioles”, the player number “7” appears on the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name, “BELANGER” on a grey nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in orange on black tackle twill. The Dempsey jersey is constructed the exact same way (even the flag tag) with the player number “24” and player name, “DEMPSEY” across the back. The name and player numbers have been restored. Dempsey signed on the left chest and below the player name in black pen with the added inscription, “1983 World Series MVP” and in our opinion, rates a 7 overall. On the inside below the rear collar is a “Wilson” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On the left tail is a strip tag with, “80 2” embroidered in chain-stitching. Across the chest reads, “Orioles” and the player number “46” appears on both the front and on the back. These are done in black on white tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, “FLANAGAN” in black tackle twill on an orange nameplate. The name has been restored. These jerseys are properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
