The first modern-era NFL championship game was Super Bowl V between the AFC representative Baltimore Colts and the NFC representative Dallas Cowboys. It was the first Super Bowl played after the completion of the AFL–NFL merger and the Colts defeated the Cowboys by the score of 16-13 at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. On the front left tail is a "Sand Aire" manufacturer's tag with washing instructions. Attached below is a size "50" flag tag. Super Bowl V was the first time the Baltimore Colts wore the combination of this Sand Aire tag with a white mesh jersey. The player number "61" appears on the front, on the back and on each sleeve painted in blue. Across the back reads the player name, "JOHNSON" in blue tackle twill sewn onto a white nameplate. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used in Super Bowl V and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
