A first ballot National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee in 2003, Eddie Murray had a fast start to his career winning the 1977 American League Rookie of the Year award. Five hundred home runs later, Murray is a World Series champion, an eight-time All-Star and has his No. 33 retired by the Baltimore Orioles. On the front left tail is a strip tag with, "76 Set 1" embroidered on it in chain-stitching. On the inside below the rear collar is a "Wilson" size "42" manufacturer's tag. Across the chest reads, "Orioles" and the player number "33" appears on both the front and on the back. These are done in black on white tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name, "MURRAY" in black tackle twill sewn directly onto the orange jersey. This was a blank carryover from the previous year stock, which was lettered and numbered locally for Murray's arrival featuring a unique straight-stitch affixed numeral on front. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
