Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Shaquille O’Neal was the league’s MVP, a three-time NBA Finals MVP and a four-time NBA champion. O’Neal wore this style of sneaker for home games during the 1997-98 season, including the three rounds in the playoffs (Western Conference Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals). Reebok manufactured white sneakers with purple trim; size 22. On the outside area, on the tongue and at the bottom of the lace area are Reebok logos while a white Shaq logo appears on the heel. O’Neal signed the outside ankle area of each sneaker in black pen and in our opinion, rates a 7-8 overall. These sneakers are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and in our opinion show appropriate wear. Accompanied by an LOA from JSA and an LOA from Jerry Buss’ personal assistant, Philip Coca.
