The original near 8" x 10" box has a near 2" x 3" photo of the Pittsburgh Pirate's Hall of Fame third sacker. The box has some surface blemishes, is discolored, has a couple of nicks and a 3" tear to one corner flap. The box still rates as very good and is a rare example of an original box from this era. The glove itself is genuine oil tempered horsehide, has full leather lining throughout and is already broken in for play. The glove shows good wear to the palm, thumb and little finger.
