The Dodgers arrived in Los Angeles in 1958 and instantly became the new heroes in a town filled with stars. The Dodgers did not let their "new" fans down by winning three World Championships in their first 8 years in Los Angeles. Pictured here are three different L.A. Dodgers pennants. The first pennant is from the inaugural season at Dodger Stadium in 1962. The half blue/red pennant has white lettering that reads " Guest Grand Opening Dodger Stadium Home of the Dodgers and Angels April 9 1962". The second pennant is from the 1965 World Series. This royal blue pennant with white lettering shows a baseball flying out of Dodger Stadium that reads "National League Champions". Also written are the words "1965 World Series L.A. Dodgers vs. Minn. Twins". The third pennant is a regular team pennant from an unknown year with the word "Dodgers" in white and blue letters with a striped blue backing. All three pennants are in EX-NM condition with the original tassels on both the older pennants.
