"Baseball and Ballantine" was a slogan known by all Yankee fans of the 1950s and ‘60s. The beer company sponsored the teams games and its famous "three rings" logo was part of many promotions, one of which was this calendar of the Yanks' 1964 schedule featuring Yogi Berra with the words "Catch Yogi and the Yankees on radio and TV." The piece, a 9" x 18" sheet of cardboard with a stand on the back designed to sit upright, which no doubt graced many a candy store counter around the town in ‘64, looks as new as it did back then. The pages of the calendar were not torn off and with the entire piece having been preserved under plastic wrapping, you can almost taste the Ballantine.
